Martinez - Mt. Wanda - John Muir National Historic Site

Named after his eldest daughter, Mt. Wanda is part of this John Muir National Historic Site and is 326 acres of rolling California grasslands and oak woodlands. John Muir would take nature walks here along with his two daughters Wanda and Helen. Pets are permitted on a leash. Bicycles and horses are allowed on fire roads only.

Walking Difficulty: ​Moderate to difficult. Please come prepared, as no water or toilet facilities are available.
